ABOUT ME
I am interested in an array of topics like sexual selection and mate choice, anti-predatory behaviors, phenotypic and developmental plasticity, plant-insect interactions, and global change. I worked on the historical perspectives of green space and water management in my hometown Bangalore for my undergraduate thesis. You can read a short blog post about that here. For my master thesis, I looked at the behavioral thermoregulation of a montane butterfly across an elevational gradient in the Himalayas.

Currently, I am working on the innate anti-predator behaviour and plastic mate preference behaviour in aposematic butterflies for my PhD at University of Arkansas in Dr. Erica Westerman's Lab.
